Alliance Wins CarbonCare Label 2017 for Excellence in Carbon Reduction

Recently, Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance”) was awarded the CarbonCare® Label initiated by CarbonCare InnoLab and certificated by Carbon Care Asia for its outstanding performance in carbon emission control.

To support climate protection, Alliance has started to capture the Carbon Footprint of its operations since 2008. With focuses on carbon reduction and energy efficiency enhancement, the company spares no effort to set green operating standards and develop environmental protection facilities. The company has implemented the energy management system according to the requirements of ISO50001. The key measures include reviewing major energy uses within its operations, evaluating energy consumption profile and efficiency at different sites, and setting energy saving targets, etc.  

The CarbonCare® Label encourages and recognizes the efforts of companies and organizations in their action to tackle climate change and achieve carbon reduction/neutrality status by Measuring, Reducing and Offsetting (MRO) their carbon footprints.
