Alliance Received 2017 “Sustainable Business Award”

Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance”) won the 2017 Sustainable Business Award initiated by the World Green Organisation (WGO). The award honours corporations that have put efforts and contributions in different sustainability categories.

Now in its third year, the Sustainable Business Award urges enterprises to develop a better sustainable development strategy, which aims to raise local businesses’ awareness of the importance of their contribution in ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). The four assessment categories include Workplace Quality, Environmental Protection, Operation Practice and Community Involvement.

Alliance has been implementing long-term guidelines on sustainable development, taking strong initiative to minimize the environmental impact by waste reduction, resource conservation and energy management. One of the company’s key approaches is reducing waste at source, it has launched various quality control practices to reduce unnecessary waste, while promoting the benefits of green operation among its employees.
