Alliance Celebrates Grand Opening of Tsing Tim Street Plant
Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance”), the leading concrete and aggregates Total Solutions Provider in Hong Kong, marked an important milestone with the grand opening of its Tsing Tim Street concrete batching plant, its second plant located on Tsing Yi Island.
Held on 7 December 2017, the opening ceremony received enthusiastic response that attracted representatives from major contractors, leaders in the construction industry and business service professionals in Hong Kong.
The new Tsing Tim Street will be a leader in productivity and sustainability, thanks to the use of innovative automation technologies. As a “Smart Manufacturing” plant, it features the latest automation technology, state-of-the-art production equipment and the most sophisticated environmental protection facilities.
Last year, Alliance’s mega concrete plant in Sai Tso Wan commenced operations. Comprising a total of 5 production lines, the new Tsing Tim Street plant will synergise with its Sai Tso Wan plant to form a highly efficient and capable regional Concrete Production Hub. This concrete production hub can produce 500m3 an hour, 6,000 m3 a day. Tsing Yi Island is a strategic location of the company as the production hub can deliver concrete to all regions in HK within an hour.
