Alliance Honoured with Corporate Green Governance Award - Environmental Monitoring & Reporting

Alliance Construction Materials Limited ("Alliance") has once again garnered a prestigious green award this year. The Company was presented with the Corporate Green Governance Award - Environmental Monitoring & Reporting by the Green Council in Hong Kong Green Awards 2023.

The Hong Kong Green Awards is organised by the Green Council to recognize companies with exceptional performance in environmental, health and safety management, green governance and sustainable procurement. It aims to support and promote the 8 selected United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.
Alliance places a strong emphasis on integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the core of its strategies and operations. This commitment is structured around four main aspects: contributing to a low carbon future, striving for environmental excellence, caring for people, and ensuring traceability in material sourcing and manufacturing. The company's robust governance structure enables it to surpass compliance requirements and adopt best practices.

Since 2011, Alliance has voluntarily reported its ESG performance to enhance communications with its stakeholders and increase transparency. In 2018, the Company outlined its long-term sustainable development goals and action plans in the "Alliance Sustainability Ambitions 2030," which also serves as the primary framework for the sustainability reports.

Building on this momentum, Alliance will continue our ESG transformation journey and work together with the government and other stakeholders to achieve the shared visions of carbon neutrality in future.
