Alliance Partners with Shell Hong Kong on New Energy Transportation Solutions for Carbon Reduction

Alliance Construction Materials Limited (“Alliance”) is excited to announce that the Company has partnered with Shell Hong Kong, its fuel supplier to look into new energy transportation opportunities in order to reduce the Scope 1 emission in its operation. 

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two parties on November 16, 2022, which is an important strategic action for achieving the Company’s Net-Zero goal. 

With the support from Shell, Alliance has been actively upgrading its decarbonisation efforts,  such as promoting the biofuels and carbon compensation projects. The partnership with Shell also includes the electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions at Alliance’s fleet depot in Tsing Yi Island. 

Going forward, Alliance will continue to explore new collaboration with diverse business partners, organisations and communities to contribute to a Net-Zero future for Hong Kong.
