Run for Hope, initiated by Alliance since 2021, is an online charity run. The primary goals include fostering social responsibility, advocating for a healthy lifestyle to instill enduring wellness habits, and involving Alliance staff and the public in enjoyable social activities.
This year’s ambitious collective target is 20,000 km. Alliance has pledged donations to Po Leung Kuk to support its social welfare initiatives, with the total donation amount based on the cumulative distance achieved by all participants.

RUN for Transformation
We invite everyone to join us in running for charity, transforming yourselves mentally and physically, and changing the lives of the vulnerable groups.
The total donation amount is calculated based on the total distance achieved by all participants, with a rate of HKD4 per kilometer. For instance, if all participants collectively complete 20,000 kilometers, the donation amount will be:
20,000km x HKD4 = HKD80,000
Participants can track the distance they have covered and the corresponding donation contribution they have made through the event app.
How to Join
1. Run (Team or Individual)
- Form a team of no more than 4 people or join individually and run at least 3km each time*
- Record your result by apps or e-devices
- Log-in to the event app to submit your result with screenshot and photos
2. Walk
- Join the walk as an individual to walk at least 3km each time*
- Record your result by apps or e-devices
- Log-in to the event app to submit your result with screenshot and photos
*Accumulation of total daily walking distance is not acceptable
Event Background
This is the fourth year of Alliance - Run for Hope. The event not only demonstrates our care for vulnerable groups, but it also aims to encourage our staff and everyone to work out regularly and develop a healthy lifestyle.
The first event in 2021 was an internal event for all Alliance staff. It received an overwhelming response, with all participants surpassing the goal of completing 1,000 km of runs and walks. This success gave us the confidence to significantly increase the run targets of 2022 and 2023 to 3000 km and 15000 km and finally open the event to everyone.
From 2021 to 2023, we donated HKD 300,000 to Po Leung Kuk, supporting their social welfare services for various vulnerable groups.
